Shipping & Payments
Do you offer free shipping?
We offer FREE SHIPPING Site-wide. Shipping is included in the final purchase price of your discounted reloading components.
Can you ship to my location?
We ship to the continental US with a couple exceptions. We can ship projectiles or unprimed brass to Hawaii and Alaska. All other products are CONUS. Live Ammunition will vary based on your location. Please refer to your local and state laws before purchasing live ammunition from American Reloading.
Can I pick up my order at the warehouse?
Yes, we can arrange pickup, but it must be by appointment only. Please reach out to info@americanreloading.com to schedule your appointment.
How is my order shipped?
We go through great lengths to ensure your order is packaged well and arrives safely. The carriers tend to be rough on our packages because of the heavy weight at times. Because we offer FREE SHIPPING SITE-WIDE, we must get creative and pack things in different variations to fit them in the boxes we can use. Please understand there will be times when multiple products ship together, and please open your package immediately to make sure everything is there.
What payment methods to you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards. We also accept debit cards endorsed by one of these mentioned companies.We accept checks and money orders, but they must be cleared before we ship your product. PayPal prohibits the use of its platform to buy our products, so we cannot accept PayPal.
Can I use two different payment methods on the same order?
Sorry, we cannot accept multiple payment methods for one order unless requested before placing a large order.
Do you offer discounts on your reloading components?
Yes, we offer great discounts, sometimes the best in the country! Be sure to check our site for the discount codes and put them in before finalizing your order. Let us know if you forget and we can take care of you if it is within 7 days of the original purchase.
Do you offer bulk purchase discounts?
If you want to make a purchase of $5,000 or more, please email us at info@americanreloading.com and let us know what you are looking for. We will do our best to accommodate.
What is your return policy?
Due to our unique products, we only accept returns for damaged or defective products. If your order does not match our site description, we will take care of you. We also understand we are selling a lot of unique “demil” products and will work with you to ensure you are a happy customer.
To initiate a return, please email us at info@americanreloading.com and include your order number with the reason for returning.
We will provide you with a shipping label. Once the order is received in our warehouse we can issue a full refund back to form of payment you initially used. If you used a gift card you will receive store credit. If you purchased the wrong product and simply do not want it, you will be subject a shipping and restocking fee.
You must contact info@americanreloading.com within 30 days of your order date for any returns.
My product arrived damaged, what do I do?
We understand the mail carriers can be rough on packages and sometimes your order arrives damaged. If the actual product is damaged please send pictures and details to info@americanreloading.com within 30 days of your order date.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, but we strive to get your order packed up and shipped out by the next day. Please email us at info@americanreloading.com as soon as possible to if you want to cancel an order.
When will I receive my order?
We do our best to process and ship orders within 48 business hours. You will receive a tracking number via email from American Reloading. Weekends and holidays can cause a backup in our system, but we will do our best to keep up. Any local laws that require us to gather more info from you will cause a delay.
We use FedEx and USPS Flat Rate shipping depending on what you order. Transit times are generally 1-5 business days from Missouri. Holidays and national pandemics will delay transit times.
How can I track my order?
If you didn’t receive a tracking number, please check your SPAM or JUNK folder before contacting us. We produce your tracking number once we print the order to be packaged. You will not receive a tracking number immediately after your order is authorized. Allow 2-3 business days to receive a tracking number.

Products
What does TMJ mean?
TMJ means Total Metal Jacket or Copper Plated when referring to projectiles. The lead has an electro plating to reduce lead residue in your barrel. This copper jacket is thin and cannot handle high velocities. Companies like Berry’s and Xtreme offer TMJs, along with all the other large manufactures who use them in their ammo.
What does FMJ mean?
FMJ means Full Metal Jacket or Copper Jacketed. Copper jackets are much thicker than copper plating and hold up better to high velocities. The military spec requires FMJ-style projectiles. Due to the process and the raw materials involved, FMJs tend to be higher priced than TMJ projectiles.
What does JSP mean?
JSP means Jacket Soft Point. Because we get multiple manufactures products we can’t always determine exactly what soft point it might be. JSP are copper jacketed lead projectiles with an exposed lead tip. Those lead tips will vary in size at times and not always be identical. Please understand lead is soft and easily formed at times.
