These are .223 caliber, 45-grain hollow-point flat-base (HP FB) projectiles with a cannelure. Pulled from loaded ammunition; you may see minimal cosmetic marks from the pull, but function is unaffected. The flat-base design offers good short-range stability, and the cannelure helps with consistent seating and crimping. We remove any pieces we consider unusable. Start with conservative loads and consult published load data for your firearm and powder.
