These are .45-70 caliber, 405-grain hard cast lead projectiles. Pulled from loaded ammunition; you may see minimal cosmetic marks from the pull, but function is unaffected. Hard cast lead projectiles perform well at traditional velocities and are suitable for lever-gun loads, target shooting, and general-purpose big-bore applications. We remove any pieces we consider unusable. Start with conservative loads and consult published load data for your firearm and powder.
