These are .45-70 caliber polymer-coated lead projectiles in a mixed lot of 407- and 410-grain weights. Pulled from loaded ammunition; you may see minimal cosmetic marks from the pull, but function is unaffected. The polymer coating helps reduce barrel fouling and smoke compared to traditional bare lead, making these suitable for target shooting and general-purpose big-bore loads. We remove any pieces we consider unusable. Start with conservative loads and consult published load data for your firearm and powder.
