These are .444 caliber, 265-grain Hornady FTX (Flex Tip eXpanding) projectiles. Pulled from loaded ammunition; you may see minimal cosmetic marks from the pull, but function is unaffected. The FTX design uses a flexible polymer tip to improve aerodynamics and allow safe use in tubular magazines, making it a strong choice for lever-action rifles and hunting applications. We remove any pieces we consider unusable. Start with conservative loads and consult published load data for your firearm and powder.
