These are .458 caliber, 500-grain Hornady DGX (Dangerous Game eXpanding) projectiles. Pulled from loaded ammunition; you may see minimal cosmetic marks from the pull, but function is unaffected. The DGX design uses a bonded lead core and thick copper-clad steel jacket to provide deep penetration and controlled expansion, making it well-suited for large or dangerous game. We remove any pieces we consider unusable. Start with conservative loads and consult published load data for your firearm and powder.
